Do I need a referral to book a counselling session?

No. You do not need a referral to access counselling services. You are welcome to book directly through the online booking system or contact me if you have any questions before getting started.

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll explore what has brought you to counselling, discuss your goals, and talk about how I can best support you. There is no pressure to share everything at once.

Are sessions conducted online or in person?

All sessions are currently offered online via a secure video platform, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space, wherever you are in Australia.

How long is a counselling session?

Standard counselling sessions run for approximately 50 minutes. A complimentary 15-minute consultation is also available if you would like to discuss your needs and explore whether we're the right fit before booking a full session.

What issues can counselling help with?

Counselling can provide support for a range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, body image, spirituality, racial and cultural identity, and personal growth. If you're unsure whether counselling is right for your situation, please feel free to reach out.

Do you offer Christian counselling?

Yes. Christian counselling is available for clients who would like to incorporate their faith into the counselling process. Sessions are always tailored to your individual needs, values, and preferences.

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked online through the secure booking system. Simply click the "Book a Session" button and select a time that works best for you.

Your privacy is important and is treated with the utmost care and respect. Information shared during counselling sessions is kept confidential and stored securely in accordance with professional and ethical standards. There are, however, limited circumstances where confidentiality may need to be broken, such as when there are serious concerns about your safety or the safety of someone else, or where disclosure is required by law. These exceptions will be explained to you at the beginning of our work together so that you can feel informed, safe, and supported throughout the counselling process.
